Architects and Modelers
Information
Architect/Analyst
Responsibilities:
Responsible for setting high level strategy and modeling guidelines
for systems and enterprise level applications. Define both approach
and model to collect and document customer business and data requirements.
Determine transition strategy from current to new architecture, including
integration with current data and information systems. Function as liaison
between the customer and application architects. Lead the design and
quality assurance of both business and software object models. Approve
functional requirements document and set standards for terminology and
OO mapping models. Monitor project progress and assist team as necessary.
Qualifications: Experience
developing, implementing and supporting systems applications in large
scale projects in client server environments using object oriented software.
Analysis experience should include working with clients to develop business
requirements and creating complex models.
Infrastructure
Architect
Responsibilities:
Define and document operational and system infrastructure requirements.
Model current infrastrucre and determine migration strategy. Evaluate
and recommend appropriate hardware and network infrastructure based
on cost, performance and customer needs. Evaluate and recommend product
selections. Insure that customer requirements for security, reliability
and performance levels are met. Oversee the integration of commercial
and custom components as well as integration with other business infrastructures
as necessary. Design performance and infrastructure testing protocols
and documentation.
Qualifications: Experience
developing, implementing and supporting systems applications in large
scale projects in client server environments using object oriented software.
Must have infrastructure strategy and design experience in complex environments.
Infrastructure
Modeler
Responsibilities:
Assist the Infrastructure Architect to define and document operational
and system infrastructure requirements. Participate in the evaluation
of hardware and network infrastructure alternatives and define product
evaluation criteria. Conduct testing of engineering performance infrastructure.
Write documentation and participate as a member of the design and development
team.
Qualifications: Experience
developing, implementing and supporting systems applications in large
scale projects in client server environments using object oriented software.
Must have infrastructure modeling and design experience in complex environments.
Application
Architect
Responsibilities:
Work with Information Architect/Analyst and Infrastructure Architect
to design and implement business object models and systems infrastrure.
Document and model current application and develop transition strategy
to migrate to new system. Verify functional requirements with customer.
Partition application into subsystems to maximize operational performance.
May establish user interface style standards and responsible to insure
ease of usability for customer. Participate in quality assurance testing.
Qualifications: Experience
developing, implementing and supporting systems applications on large
scale projects. Should have object oriented applications experience
on complex, multi-operating systems with both commercial and custom
software.
System
Architect
Responsibilities:
Determine and define architectural model based on customer requirements
and technical drivers. Set and communicate the technical vision of the
project and oversee implementation to insure integrity of information,
application, integration and technical development with architectural
model. Responsible for defining functional and non functional requirements
including performance, security and reliability. Provide technical leadership
to customer and development staff and collaborate with quality group,
customer, designers and developers in testing system.
Qualifications: Experience
designing systems architecture on large, complex projects. Experience
should include object oriented applications and working with multiple
technologies such as relational or object oriented databases, transaction
processing such as Tuxedo or Encina, network management and internet
technologies such as HTTP, CGI, and SSL.
