Database Administrator

Responsibilities: Lead data analysis and data modeling effort in support of client server software development. Map business processes and data needs to storage and retrieval requirements. Defines security requirements and backup and recovery criteria. Responsible for data model, database administration and coordination with the development team as changes occur. Partner with customer to determine database sizing and partitioning needs and coordinate with architecture group on data flow and as needed.

Qualifications: Experience in relational database management and development using Sybase, Oracle, Informix, MS SQL-Server and or OODBMS. Experience should include DB installations, recovery, backups, reconfiguration and monitoring, writing SQL scripts and working in a Unix environment Knowledge should cover object oriented to relational mapping concepts and OLAP reporting tools. Both business analysis and experience interfacing with legacy systems are desirable.

Unix Systems Administrator

Responsibilities: Responsible for the installation and administration of Unix operating systems, including capacity, disaster and contingency planning. Monitor server performance and capacity, and write scripts as needed. May supervise team members and provide assistance to development projects.

Qualifications: Prior experience in systems administration and relational database management.Should have good problem solving skills.

Web Developer

Responsibilities: Translate high level specifications and code into designs tailored to project requirements and customer constraints using various web application software. Integrate web to database applications as needed. Evaluate and recommend alternatives based on development cost, performance and software complexity issues. Perform integration and regression testing working with Quality Assurance, architecture and business professionals. Provide team leadership and direction as appropriate.

Qualifications: Experience developing computer software for complex projects, using web applications including C++, Java, NextWeb, and/or Edify. Prior experience typically includes developing applications in non web applications.

Web Technical Writer

Responsibilities: Develop, write, redraft and edit content for business Web sites, including text copy, forms, and interactive material. Collaborate with content experts to understand and develop material. Research and utilize user interface studies to maximize appeal, readability, usability and message impact in the Web medium. Produce final, polished, edited copy and interactive material according to accepted editorial standards. Establish and/or use web format standards and proofread for clarity, grammar, content accuracy and format compliance at all development stages.

Qualifications: Degree in journalism, marketing, or advertising and experience in technical writing required. Experience in web content development desired.

Quality Assurance Tester

Responsibilities: Develop and execute testing protocols. Work with customer, development group and architects to determine specifications for performance, reliability, security and functional performance. Devise tests to assess conformance to design standards. Write documentation of testing and may collaborate on overall operating documentation for customer use.

Qualifications: Experience in design and development of systems applications. Specific experience developing and executing test protocols on complex systems should include multiple technologies and custom and commercial software integrated applications.
