Cue Data Services, Inc. Supplier Diversity Policy

It is the policy of Cue Data Services, Inc. (CDS) to create partnerships with qualified diverse suppliers as part of its overall commitment to diversity. CDS believes that partnerships with qualified diverse suppliers advances economic opportunity for diverse suppliers, benefits the community in which we do business, brings added value to the table, and permits CDS to continue to provide the highest quality of service to our clients in the most efficient and effective manner.

To that end, CDS promotes the use of eligible, qualified diverse suppliers by:

  1. Seeking out eligible, qualified diverse suppliers;
  2. Developing opportunities for eligible, qualified diverse suppliers to bid;
  3. Making every reasonable effort to help eligible, qualified diverse suppliers to meet company standards; and
  4. Advising vendors of CDS' commitment to support minority economic development, and encouraging these suppliers to use minority, women, and disabled vendors, distributors, and qualified subcontractors as part of their service.

Definition of Diverse Suppliers

A diverse business is a for-profit enterprise, regardless of size, physically located in the United States or its trust territories, which is owned, operated, and controlled by minority group members, women, or disabled individuals.

  • "Owned" means the business is at least 51% owned by such individuals.
  • "Operated and controlled" means the daily operations and effective management of the business are under the control of such individuals (i.e. key management position, hire-fire authority, and other similar decision-making role).
  • "Minority group members" means United States citizens who are Asian-American, African-America, Hispanic-American, and Native American.
  • "Asian-American" means a U.S. citizen whose origins are from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, Japan, China, Taiwan, Korea, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, the Philippines, Samoa, Guam, the U.S. Trust Territories of the Pacific or the Northern Marianas.
  • "African-American" means a U.S. citizen having origins in any of the Black racial groups of Africa.
  • "Hispanic-American" means a U.S. citizen of true-born Hispanic heritage, from any of the Spanish-speaking areas of Latin America or the following regions: Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean Basin only.
  • "Native-American" means a person who is an American Indian, Eskimo, Aleut or Native Hawaiian, and regarded as such by the community of which the person claims to be a part. Native Americans must be documented members of a North American tribe, band or otherwise organized group of native people who are indigenous to the continental United States and proof can be provided through a Native American Blood Degree Certificate (i.e., tribal registry letter, tribal roll register number).
  • "Women" means a U.S. citizen or U.S. resident alien who is female.
  • "Disabled" means a disabled veteran or any individual(s) with a permanent mental or physical impairment that substantially limits one or more of the major life activities and which has a significant negative impact upon the company's ability to successfully compete.
